As the new owner of Johnson & Fletcher Insurance, Doug Johnson will lead the agency into its 38th year of business as one of Gainesville’s most successful independent Insurance agency. Doug will continue the legacy of this long standing agency and hopes to bring in the resources and contacts through his experiences of playing quarterback for the University of Florida and 7 years in the NFL. As a Gainesville native, Doug and his team will continue to solve market demands for experienced, knowledgeable, and licensed staff on selecting the most comprehensive and cost effective policies. We will achieve this by having the access of multiple direct carriers which provides a competitive atmosphere for business owners and individuals. Having access to multiple direct carriers ensures that the most cost effective and comprehensive package will arrive for the insured. Our strength is in our name recognition since we have been in business for 37 year, our staff which has over 150 years experience and the multiple AM Best “A” Rated Carriers that we represent in both the commercial and individual markets. Johnson & Fletcher will also be a market place for individual and group health insurance from both private Insurance carriers and products through the Health Care exchange with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida.
