Joint Effort has been helping clients to maintain or regain strength and functionality along the Connecticut shoreline since 2013. Joint Effort is a completely new fitness concept specializing in small group, functional strength and mobility workouts for aging adults that are efficient, fun, and results driven. We are unlike other fitness concepts near you. We specialize in helping aging adults to live happier, healthier, and more active lives, regardless of their current health or functional status. Our team of highly educated and experienced exercise professionals design and guide clients (aged 50 to over 90) through their personalized exercise programs to ensure every session is safe, effective, and enjoyable! The motivation and encouragement in a group setting creates a warm, social, and inspiring environment where goals are met, relationships are established, and the aging process is truly enhanced. Our goal is to create a community and sanctuary with welcoming and encouraging trainers as well as friendly and supportive fellow members who make this concept MUCH more than a place to exercise. You will not find mirrors, loud music, young powerlifters, or other athletes inside the walls of Joint Effort! Just a clean, comfortable, and non-intimidating place to get the exercise needed to maintain or regain a healthy and active lifestyle. At Joint Effort, our members are supported by the highly educated and experienced staff who not only design their workouts specific to their needs and capabilities, but also supervise and guide them through every session! Members are reassessed and provided with a new exercise prescription based on the reassessment every 90 days to ensure the client is improving and continues to improve over time.
