About Joseph's Coat
The mission of Joseph’s Coat is to be a free store, where all are welcome to shop in an environment of dignity and respect. We provide clothing for adults and children, small household goods and hygiene items for our shoppers, who usually number between 100-150+ each Monday and Wednesday. Our new or gently used items are provided without charge, thanks to the generosity of our supporters who donate their items or make financial gifts. We have a group of over 80 volunteers, many of whom have served for decades, who keep things running smoothly and have built a strong and lively volunteer community at the Coat.
