Josoor Institute is a Centre of Excellence for the sports and events industries. Its vision was inspired and developed by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. Using the Arabic word for ‘bridge,’ our name perfectly describes the organisation’s purpose: we bridge the gap between where we are now across the Middle East and North Africa region and where we want to be. The MENA region is blessed with a young and vibrant population that is passionate about sports and full of potential. Winning the right to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup™, Expo 2020, Formula 1 races, Climate Change Conference COP 22, World Athletics Championships 2019 and other sports and mega events energized youth in the region and created a unique opportunity for social, human and economic development. Hosting the world's greatest events will require harnessing the energy and passion of the whole region. We aspire to this vision by melding natural talent and enthusiasm with professional development and expertise.
