About JournalStone Publishing
JournalStone was established on April 26, 2009 near San Francisco, California, and officially became a company the following July. Like many Web sites today, JournalStone began as a Blog – a Web site established to promote a novel. Soon, the site was receiving a thousand hits a day with a few hundred unique visitors. (View JournalStone’s current ranking on Alexa.com.) JournalStone’s founders dabbled in several ventures before settling comfortably into the publishing world. JournalStone is a small press publishing company, focusing on Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror. We publish in multiple book formats and market our authors on a global level. In addition to showcasing new authors, JournalStone publishes a yearly anthology of collected short stories, and we host an annual contest for Horror Novels. We are also active with major writer’s groups and produce a monthly newsletter, which reaches thousands. Our online presence and marketing effort is constantly expanding. The company’s goal is to publish quality novels by partnering with an author, forming a team that will be proud of the final product.
