About Joy to the Kids
Joy to the Kids, Inc. is not your typical group of performers. We are dedicated to the idea that if a child can forget about his or her surroundings for a little while, and be given permission to dream big and imagine a future full of joy, then the healing process will be amplified and truly make a difference in their lives... beyond their wildest expectations! We are Princesses and Superheroes, but the focus is on the real heroes: the kids. Our goal is to not just perform for the children, but interact with them in such a way that there is not a doubt in their minds that they possess a power inside themselves far greater than their circumstances. By encouraging each child to use their imagination to visualize only the things they love, and allow them to dream a bigger dream for themselves, without limitations, they are transcended beyond the fear of their illness to a place of pure hope and joy. We also see the immense benefit that this profound effect has on their families as well, and we encourage the whole family to believe in the power of how their positive thoughts can influence their children and witness first-hand the healing effects of this JOY!
