Founded in 2006, JP2 Architects is committed to the creation of projects with a sense of place - projects grounded in urban design, which reflect the surrounding context and community, and touch the people for whom they are built. The philosophy of designing projects that are appropriate for their user and community is applied to projects large and small. We believe the structures we build today will have an impact on the fabric of our community for decades to come by nature of the building’s character, environmental sensitivity and adaptability. With experience in a wide variety of project types, JP2’s design studio focuses on the creation of spaces for living, learning and working. We do this through quality design, by understanding our client’s goals, and by applying our thorough understanding of the various factors and components of complex projects large and small. JP2’s principals have over twenty years of experience working together in the design and delivery of buildings and projects that include corporate interiors, office complexes, institutional buildings, multi-family residential, commercial retail developments, and masterplanning. JP2 is committed to sustainable design as our office is well versed in sustainable approaches with the majority of our staff being LEED accredited. Our collaborative process always includes our clients, and assures a swift synthesis of the constraints and opportunities into a salient solution. More importantly, it enfranchises our clients in the process and assures that the ultimate outcome - the project itself - is a true reflection of their vision. Each project is led by one of the principals of the firm along with the Associate appropriate for that project type, who manages the day to day aspects of the project. We are a medium size firm that believes in high level attention to each and every project with an emphasis on client satisfaction.
