About JSB

JSB is an initiative of Jyotirmoy Education&Welfare Foundation.The Foundation was established in da year 2003 and since then has consistently worked towards providing educational opportunities right from the kindergarten stage to doctoral levels. The foundation administers several colleges and schools in Sonarpur,West Bengal. The Jyotirmoy Public school was established in the year 2004 & currently has 300+ students in its rolls. The year 2008 was a momentous year with the setting up of Jyotirmoy Knowledge Park, as one of a kind educational park which houses colleges from UG to PG levels. This institution aims to be among the best institutions in West Bengal and will strive to compete with the best in India in terms of infrastructure and academics. The law school as well as the Undergraduate Management College are also part of this campus. The Foundation also strives to fulfill its social obligations through a system of scholarships for poor but meritorious students of the region and a policy of active involvement in the development of the neighboring region & community. Its sister foundation SIEWF through its contacts in the Asian subcontinent particularly China, Philippines & Singapore etc works towards true globalization of education through its students &faculty exchange programs as well as through creation ,promotion &maintenance of inter country academic programs. SIEWF connects 1200 students,50 facultys &13 universities. JSB ,the management school of the foundation has been visualized as a premier B-school which shall provide its students with exposure to the best management practices of both East & West.
