About JTechMarine Services
John Whitham has served the shipping industry for 40 years as of 2020, Initially, 25 years at sea many of which serving as Chief Engineers on various types of vessels including Offshore Support, AHV and Dive Support Vessels. Since 2007, ashore in various Technical roles, conducting DP Assurance and Compliance, and Technical Vessel Assurance, Failure mode analysis, Class and Statutory inspection, OCIMF OVID & IMCA eCMID inspections and also Technical incident investigations. For hull surveys we are utilising a mini ROV to assist with such as pre-drydock inspections (prop damage, anode depletion etc), ballast tank inspections, and also condition/ leakage issues.
