About Juanita's Heart

Founded in 2012, Juanita’s Heart is social catalyst for aspiring girls and women who want to end cycles of poverty and make an impact in the world. It is the desire of Juanita’s Heart to equip and empower those life's that we touch to thrive! Our Programs A GIRL’S HEART® A Girl’s Heart® is dedicated to inspiring and guiding girls ages 9-16 to discovering who they are deep down in their heart and develop the skills, knowledge, confidence they need to consistently make informed life-choices from a place of self-knowledge, self-respect and strength. It is the goal of A Girls Heart® to provide essential life skills every girl needs for healthy self-development, building of healthy relationships and the opportunity to reach her own unique and highest potential. Through art, dance, discussion, writing, theatre games, guest speakers and a variety of other fun and dynamic activities, participants will be guided to develop tools to successfully navigate issues every girl faces today. EMPOWERED WOMEN THRIVE Juanita’s Heart believes that small changes in the life of a women will be a catalysis for change in the communities we serve. It is the mission of Juanita’s Heart to serve and support women as they transition through setbacks and sometimes tragic situations. These women have managed to survive what seemed to be unsurpassable setbacks. But survival is just the beginning. It is the desire of Juanita’s Heart to equip women to thrive. The Empowered Women Thrive Series is a 4-part empowerment series offering women a structured environment in which they receive skills needed to confidently enter into the marketplace despite their past experiences. With an emphasis on building: The Empowered Women Thrive Series lays a solid foundation for which can women can rely on to shape their future despite their past.
