About Julieta Velvet
Julieta Velvet is an art director, set designer and photographer duo that combines visual techniques and creativity. Founded by Alba Calabuig and Paula Diaz, two creative thinkers and visual content artists. They both graduate in Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). After a year living in Krakow (Poland) in 2014 they moved to Madrid (Spain) to complete their degrees in Advertising Creativity and Set Design. They have been working together as freelance since 2016. Their compositions are a very meticulous process where nothing is random. Combining traditional graphic design elements with photography, art and styling to create utterly unique visuals. They play with colors, textures, materials and the light to create new meanings in their compositions seeking that each image sneaks into the spectators’ retina. The real and the surreal worlds living in harmony creating fresh and magics new-realities.
