ABOUT US Jumpstart Mastery is dedicated to helping individuals unlock their inner potential to better manage emotions and respond calmly to Anger, Aggression, and Violence (AAV). Our mission is to empower public safety professionals, behavioral health workers, and anyone serving others to handle challenging situations with greater self-control and composure. With incidents of AAV rising globally, our work is more essential than ever. WHO WE ARE Jumpstart Mastery was founded by Andy Prisco, a seasoned expert in managing AAV without the use of force. Andy brings decades of experience in behavioral crisis intervention and co-developed the first and only verbal de-escalation certification endorsed by a professional mental health association. He also founded one of the largest state-funded psychiatric emergency response programs in the U.S. Andy has supported federal, state, and regional law enforcement, corrections, behavioral health organizations, and youth service providers. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, his work has expanded to public-facing businesses navigating the rise of AAV incidents at service points. WHAT WE CREATE Jumpstart Mastery is building an online community for professionals in public safety, behavioral health, co-responder systems, and private sector roles. Our platform offers: • Networking spaces for sharing insights and experiences • Profession-specific subgroups for targeted discussions • Micro-trainings, webinars, live Q&A sessions, and online courses Our goal is to enhance skills in self-regulation, verbal de-escalation, and crisis management.
