About Junior Innovators
Junior Innovators is a non-profit educational institution based in Sudan. The team was established in 2019 to train Sudanese children in programming, electronics, artificial intelligence, and robotics. The training is tailored to their learning abilities and innovative methods to contribute to the intellectual growth of young minds and empower them in the fields of technology from an early age. The goal is to encourage innovation and foster active participation in technology to utilize their capabilities and innovations in the short and long term. Establishment? The team was established due to the absence of Sudanese children from international competitions and championships related to programming, robotics and artificial intelligence at the time. On July 12, 2020, the first training courses began, where a scratch course was held remotely, on the Sudanese educational platform lasted for 5 days under the leadership of trainer Khaled Rashad in the first five days and concluded on the fifth day with an overview of robotics led by trainer Omar Haidar. Idea? The first course on Arduino and electronics for beginners was held in August 2020, in which 15 students in the age group of 10 to 16 years participated, and it gained acceptance and support to continue the training courses.
