With the expertise and experience of 160 faculty members, the University provides high-quality education sustained by research centers and well-supported tradition of the early existence in the 1960s of the High School of Economics, which has developed into the Faculty of Economics and Tourism "Dr. Mijo Mirković", and the Pedagogical Academy, which later became the High Teacher Education and Training School/nowadays Faculty, also Faculty of Philosophy, then Musical Academy and other departments developed like Department for natural sciences and health programmes, Department for ICT, Department for interdisciplinary, cultural and study programmes in Italian.
