Just Bee Productions (SCO46945) is a frontline charity based in the heart of Dundee. We function as a de facto crisis centre, support hub and community arts service. Our services are a lifeline to anyone who requires assistance across a wide range of social issues. For example, our staff help vulnerable individuals and families navigate difficult circumstances such as food insecurity, domestic violence, fuel poverty, homelessness, mental health issues, social isolation and loneliness. Our experienced team is composed of full time support workers and part time therapists. We provide an open door to people in crisis, offering a wide range of services Monday-Saturday. Our charity offers both practical and emotional support to those who are most affected by increasing cost of living, averaging 250 in person engagements per week. The charity works to address a wide range of social issues by providing a service that is drawn from four focus areas, which are outlined below Focus Areas 1. Poverty Relief - open door drop in Monday-Saturday,food insecurity initiatives, crisis support, one to one support, advocacy 2. Improved Health Outcomes -, onsite COSCA Accredited counselling service, onsite NHS practitioners, physical participation activities , Intensive ‘Sleeves Up’ / holistic support 3. Access to Arts & Cultural Activities - gender specific group activities, participatory family activities, community theatre productions, trips to inspirational places of interest 4. Volunteers, Training, Employment + Education / Learning and Development Pathways - dual role volunteer services, student and HMP placement opportunities.
