About Just Dance Invitational
Just Dance Invitational is a new kind of dance competition and you are exclusively invited to be a part of it! The purpose of our competition is to give dancers a unique experience. A competition based on having fun doing what you love, supporting your community and gaining beneficial rewards. Sandra Choi, the Director of Just Dance Invitational grew up competing in national dance competitions throughout the country for over 10 years. Although she enjoyed and still cherishes the fond memories from her competition days, there was always one thing she wanted to change- the award system of these competitions. It was while she was attending college as a dance major that she began coming up with ideas to construct a dance competition that focused on awarding dancers with college scholarships. Just Dance Invitational held their very first competition in San Diego, CA on October 11, 2015. This is just the beginning and our plan is to change what competition means. We’re not just a dance competition, we’re advocates for higher eduction and giving back to our community.
