About Just Mind

Just Mind provides mental health assessments and support to a range of conditions (anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, sleeping difficulties, challenging behaviour, difficulties in relationships, low self-esteem and low self-confidence, work related stress, anger issues, phobias and procrastination). Our assessments are all done face-to-face by a Clinical Psychologist, qualified and experienced for the purpose and discussed and reviewed by a Consultant. After an initial assessment session, which could take between 90 minutes to 120 minutes, we suggest a specific therapeutic plan based on the difficulties presented and considering the individual goals. This could pass through regular therapy sessions or to explore a specific assessment (per example neurodiverse assessments: ASD or ADHD) if previously highlighted or observed during the initial assessment. Our assessment process consists in gathering information for the clinical history, family background, development history, social relationships, behavioural patterns, previous medical or psychiatric history, specific sensitives, history of persistency of symptoms, environments where they were noticed and main impact caused on the day-to-day life. We also use specific screening questionaries' to accurate if the difficulties presented and reported could represent enough clinical evidence to meet the threshold for a specific condition. Our reports are detailed and will include all the clinical evidences gathered from the individual, the family and the school or the work place. Every assessment is discussed and reviewed by a Consultant before giving any feedback or any kind of diagnosis. Regarding therapy sessions, the models we use are evidence-based efficient treatments to a large range of conditions. The models we use include CBT, DBT, ACT and Psychodynamics. Our goal is to empower individual's skills to overcome difficulties and enjoy their life’s on a confident, relaxed and strong way.
