About Justice Translators

Justice Translators is a community-based organization providing support, and resources to victims of gun violence and families involved in homicide investigations, and/or shootings. These families, find themselves inside a criminal and legal system, that they lack an understanding of, and worse — the growing maze of miscommunication that exists between law enforcement and the community is deepening the already fraught relationship. Our on-the-ground experts — “Justice Translators” — work to bridge the gap between police department officials, families, victims and the complex nature of America’s criminal justice system.
