About Justify

Justify’s mission is to build a compassionate and knowledgeable community for animal lab workers to process their experiences and become advocates for science without human or animal suffering. Justify exists because we know that many people who become involved in animal research have good intentions, end up traumatized, and want to do away with human and animal suffering. Justify is the only organization of its kind working to both heal and mobilize individuals from the animal experimentation industry—led entirely by individuals with firsthand experience working in the industry. Our Pillars of Change 1) Transparency leads to change: Increased visibility into the emotional and ethical toll of animal research will shift public perception and policy. 2) Empowered lab workers drive progress: By supporting lab workers in speaking out and transitioning to ethical research, we create momentum for systemic change. 3) Dialogue should replace division: Bridging the gap between researchers and advocates fosters collaboration toward humane, animal-free scientific progress.
