We provide year-round outdoor activities including disc golf, hiking, trail walking, birding, hand-feeding our pet llamas, stargazing, and snowshoeing. Look and listen for birds. Each has a unique song and call. Bring your binoculars for a closer look. We have counted 60 different species on our land in June 2023 and 90 total so far. Birding is also fun while riding your bicycle on The Elroy-Sparta State Bike Trail which is the very first rails-to-trails bike trail in the USA. Our peaceful, quiet, private, secluded resort is far from city lights making this a great spot for stargazing. Nearby downtown Sparta Wisconsin about 8 miles away offers dog-friendly shopping in 18 stores and 5 wooden bridges spanning less than 1 mile you can walk or bike to.
