About JW Build & Repair

Established in 1995, John Wylie Building Ltd started out as a General Builder serving the local community from our base in Uddingston. We completed home improvement works and repairs including roofing, roughcasting, and plastering, and gained a reputation for our high quality work, competitive prices, and excellent customer service. We quickly came to the attention of the insurance industry, and it was not before long that we were the preferred contractor for many of the countries leading insurance providers and Loss Adjusters. Our geographic area of coverage expanded to take in the central belt of Scotland, and further afield. Following the devastating floods in Carlisle, and more recently in Ballater and Ellon in Aberdeenshire, we dispatched teams of tradesmen to complete full refurbishment of seriously damaged properties. Always able to diversify we have also worked closely with many Local Authorities and Housing Associations, where we have assisted in large regeneration programs for social housing developments. In 2017, John Wylie Building Ltd entered the next stage of our development with the appointment of a new Directors, as well as new owners. We are very much looking forward to building on our work within the communities we serve, as well the business relationships we have established over the years.
