J.W. Fowler, is a diversified general contractor providing heavy civil and tunneling construction solutions for municipalities, agencies, and private owners across the West Coast and beyond. Our humble beginnings, core values, and amazing team have allowed for the growth and legacy we’ve built. J.W. Fowler is a place where challenges are met with ingenuity—and we’re just getting started. While our team is capable of delivering any project, some of our specialties include: - Alternative Delivery, CM/GC, Design/Build - Industrial - Transportation - Tunneling and Trenchless - Utilities - But really, we are capable of delivering virtually any project. The more challenging the project the better! Our company began with Jim and Candace Fowler from Dallas, Oregon when they helped begin a partnership in 1972 called F&F Dozing. Starting with a single bulldozer, Jim built logging and farming roads in the Coast Range of western Oregon. In 1977, the Fowler’s bought out the partnership and incorporated James W. Fowler Co. For three generations, we’ve dedicated our lives to supporting infrastructure on the West Coast. Excellence and integrity in our work is non-negotiable. From a small, family-owned company, J.W. Fowler has grown to serve communities all throughout the West Coast and beyond. Our passion for our craft and dedication to solving challenges with ingenuity motivate us to continuously grow and improve.
