About K-Connect Assam Official

K-Connect Assam Official (previously known as Korean Culture Guwahati Fanclub) is Assam’s first and only dedicated Korean fan community, founded in 2019 with the vision of creating "your own little Hallyu world." As a non-profit initiative, our mission is to promote Korean culture (Hallyu) and foster meaningful cultural exchange between Korea and Northeast India, especially Assam. Over the years, K-Connect Assam Official has actively organized and hosted various online and offline Korean cultural events, fan meetups, K-drama, and K-pop themed experiences. Most notably, we proudly served as the Regional Organizer and Promoter for the Guwahati region consecutively for three years (2021–2023) for the All India K-POP Contest, in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centre India, connecting hundreds of youth to the larger K-Pop ecosystem. Our goal is to bridge the cultural gap by offering local fans a platform to explore and celebrate Korean music, drama, language, food, fashion, and values, while building a community that’s both inclusive and passionate.
