About K&H Landscape and Grounds Maintenance
Kris Hjort, Founder & CEO, started K&H Lawn Services, LLC. in 1984. In the early years, K&H was primarily a lawn services company focused on mowing, weeding, and pruning. Over the next 37+ years, K&H has grown to one of the area’s most recognizable industry leaders in the Northern Virginia communities providing superior and unique landscape designs & installations, outdoor living areas & other hardscape features (patios, walkways, fireplaces, fire pits, kitchens, retaining walls), decks & screened porches, turf-shrub & tree care management, and of course grounds maintenance services. K&H currently cares for over 700 residential, commercial, and HOA properties daily. We take extreme pride in the fact that over the past 30 years, we have consistently maintained a client retention rate of 85%. A matter of fact, we have clients that have been a part of the K&H family for over 25 years. K&H employs between 40-50 men & women with an average of 8 years of experience and a retention rate of over 10 years. Our management and sales teams bring over a combined 150 years of industry experience. K&H has been recognized for many industry awards but is particularly proud to have been recognized as the Loudoun School-Business Partnership, Award for Excellence and Service in 2019.
