K. Jamson was founded in 1930, we are a company with over 80 years of rich history. Developing from its initial stage of making only basic leather products to today’s renowned International brand that manufactures and retails a variety of high quality leather goods, luggage, and handbags. As the former Jamson Shoe Factory, the Corporation began its footprints near the harbor front and step-by step marched towards its international success. The company obtained a unique business license issued by the Canadian Department of National Defense after WWII to do business on Canadian warships. This license stands as a testimony of the reputation and quality of the K. Jamson products. In 1975, K. Jamson, launched his first retail establishment in Canada. In less than 20 years, the initial leather goods store had already expanded to 18 locations. These specialty stores carry luggage, leather goods, handbags and accessories. They carry many of the major brand names in luggage, including Briggs and Riley, Delsey, Samsonite, Victorinox to name a few. The company’s high profile operating and managing style facilitated its outstanding accomplishments. K.Jamson received consecutively the “Consumers’ Choice Award”, the “Best Dealers Award”, and the highest honour of the leather business in Canada, the “Best Retailer Award”. At the turn of the millennium, K. Jamson opened a 5000 ft2 themed store that boasted a scaled Leaning Tower of Pisa built within -- the largest independent luggage and leather goods store in Canada. K. Jamson's mission statement is highly valued: “Sincerity and innovation, and consumers’ needs are placed first in all aspects of designs, manufactures, and services.” At the same time, K. Jamson values social commitments and its devotion in charitable causes has earned exceptional praise from the public.
