About K-pop Suomi ry

K-pop Suomi ry is a Finnish registered association whose objective is to be a base to the k-pop community on a national level. It was founded on January 20, 2015 by six k-pop fans. Since then we have held several events to bring Finnish k-pop fans together. The association has grown in numbers and as a community over the years. We aspire to evolve even more! SUOMEKSI: K-pop Suomi ry on suomalainen rekisteröity yhdistys, jonka tavoitteena on yhdistää suomalaisia K-pop-faneja. Yhdistyksen päätapahtuma, K-CON SUOMI, on Suomen ensimmäinen koko päivän mittainen korealaiseen populaarikulttuuriin keskittyvä tapahtuma. Se on järjestetty kahdesti Turussa ja Tampereella. Yhdistys on järjestänyt myös kahdesti Helsingissä K-partyt. Vuonna 2018 järjestetään Vaasassa ensimmäistä kertaa K-pop Rookie Battle -niminen tanssikilpailu lavakokemusta kaipaaville ja aloitteleville tanssijoille yhteistyössä Halcyonin tanssiryhmän kanssa. Tavoitteena on järjestää tulevaisuudessa entistä enemmän tapahtumia Suomen k-pop-faneille.
