K2 International is a specialty insurance and reinsurance underwriting platform – the London-based arm of K2 Insurance Services, a leading underwriting and distribution franchise in the programme market with est. premium volume of USD 1.5bn in 2023 and majority owned by Warburg Pincus, a New York based leading global private equity firm with more than USD 80bn AUM. K2 International’s established insurance and reinsurance books of business will collectively underwrite approx. USD 150m of premium in 2024, spanning the Property cat, Property D&F, and Financial Institutions sectors. Since 2011 K2 Insurance Services has been acquiring, developing and growing profitable insurance businesses. Having established a core group of specialty insurers and MGA/MGUs in the US, we are now also building our business in the UK through K2 International. Our financial strength and operational rigour gives our business the freedom to innovate and focus on its areas of expertise.
