At K9 Hikes, we provide fun, group or solo adventure hikes, for your dog out on the trails. We offer outdoor adventure hikes for dogs owned by busy dog owners who want their pups to have an opportunity to socialize, have fun, play, run and exercise with other friendly dogs within a structured, safe environment. Certified by Dog*biz Dog Walking Academy Insured by Kennel Pro First Aid and CPR Trained. Karen has completed the Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Foundation Course Basic commands and manners are maintained by Positive Reinforcement Techniques and rewards in form of treats, verbal praise and fun play on all our hikes Serving Agoura to Ventura, including Malibu. Dogs are social creatures and they need adventure! Why use K9-Hikes? • Your dog gets plenty of adventure while on our hikes with in our group hikes, the opportunity to socialize alongside canine friends with similar energy and exercise needs in the group. • You get peace of mind knowing your dog is having fun and will be relaxed when you get home. • We are graduates of Dog*biz's highly regarded Dog Walking Academy and are committed to Dog*biz's code of ethics for superior business practices and dog handling skills. • We are certified in First Aid & CPR for dogs and we are insured. When your dog is in our care, he is in the capable hands of an experienced, certified professional. Our philosophy It is our philosophy to give your dog the most fun he can have on the trail while still keeping him at ease and safe. We want your dog to have plenty of time to sniff, run and play with his friends, but keep a controlled environment through practicing a few basic commands using positive reinforcement methods.
