More than a hundred years separate the Telles family's first steps in the world of coffee production and trade from the positioning of Kaffa today, as one of the most important players in the manufacturing market of coffee capsules in Europe and Portugal. A family-owned company, Kaffa knew how to follow this market´s evolution, devoting oneself to the production of coffee capsules in Europe and Portugal. Through fully integrated, controlled and automated processes, it produces, without any additives or chemical elements in its composition, 11 types of products: 10 types of capsules compatible with different coffee machine operating systems (namely capsules compatible with Nespresso machines*, Delta Q, Dolce Gusto*) and encapsulated coffee for the closed and exclusive brand system - the Kaffa system. Holder of 6 certifications (national and international) of quality and food safety, Kaffa is, since 2015, the only player with Sative Certification (for organic coffee production), Quality Management System (ISO 9001) , IFS Food - International Food Stadard , BRC - British Retail Consortium (for hygiene, food safety and quality systems), UTZ (which guarantee responsible agricultural production and the supply of coffee, cocoa and tea) and Fairtrade (which proves the purchase of coffee at a fair price , ensuring compliance with special social, economic and environmental standards).
