About Kahnke's Tree Farm

Our parent company, Kahnke Brothers Inc., was officially started in 1969. The tree farm division was added in 1993. Our farm produces B & B and potted trees, evergreens, shrubs, fruits and perennials. We start with plugs and bare-root materials and plant them in our fields or in containers. The plants are grown to sizes that are commonly used in commercial landscaping. Then our parent company installs them on such jobs. All extra plants are sold at wholesale prices to the public and to wholesale customers. Every Saturday from May 1st until November 1st, we are open to the public from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Appointments are required for visits at other times. We also have two annual auctions, where we sell ball and burlap trees and containerized shrubs. One auction is always in mid-May and the other in September on the Saturday following Labor Day weekend. We sell hundreds of trees and shrubs each time to bidders of all kinds. Everyone is welcome. Fahey Sales, Inc. conducts our auctions, which are live on site at our farm.
