KAHU is building a real-time, crowdsourced radar intelligence network to detect vessel movements, independent of AIS. By collecting and fusing radar data from ships around the world, KAHU aims to create a real-time map of vessel activity. This empowers shipowners, insurers, regulators, and conservationists, among others, with a new layer of maritime domain awareness - improving safety, transparency, and sustainability.
