Kai USA, Ltd. is dedicated to continuing to innovate, to design and manufacture top-quality products, and, most importantly, to serve the needs of its customers and fans throughout the world. Kershaw Knives is part of the KAI Corporation, a family-owned company located in Seki City, Japan and which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2008. It is privately held and is run by Mr. Koji Endo, the third generation to run the company. KAI is the major manufacturer and distributor of disposable razors, surgical tools, personal care products and housewares in Japan. The KAI USA, Ltd. division, led by Mr. Jack Igarashi, is responsible for the Kershaw Knives, Zero Tolerance Knives, and Shun Cutlery brands. KAI USA, Ltd. manufactures many of its Kershaw brand products in a 55,000 sq. ft. facility in Tualatin, Oregon. In order to be as sustainable as possible, the company recycles and reuses materials used in the manufacturing process, including oil, coolant, and steel. Each product is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. We will repair or replace any of our knives found to have manufacturing or materials defects for the life of its original owner. In addition, we will re-sharpen any Kershaw or Zero Tolerance brand knife free of charge.
