KaizenTao is a holistic training system that seeks to polish and protect the mind and body while driving towards Continual Growth. It allows you to correctly assess your strengths and weaknesses and those of people around you. Simply put, KaizenTao develops the skill sets necessary to face life's unpredictable challenges and allows you to take ownership of that prized gift that belongs uniquely to you. Thong Nguyen founded KaizenTao from his extensive research and experience in the fields of dance, arts, athletics, and in both the conventional and esoteric martial arts. He has trained in martial arts since the time he could walk. Growing up in a martial arts family in Vietnam where his uncles were masters of numerous martial arts, Thong learned at an early age that there is not one invincible art. Therefore, he pursued as many disciplines from many proven Masters willing to teach him. Although Thong holds several teaching certificates and advanced ranks under numerous Grandmasters, he has retained a refreshing beginner's mind, which keeps his training, innovative, evolving, and relevant. Thong is also a fashion photographer and professional dance teacher/coach. He was a high-level professional cyclist and tennis player for many years and had dabbled in both professional modeling and acting. KaizenTao combines his vast martial arts and dance expertise into a comprehensive combative/health/mobility system. It is a path to continual growth devoid from blind faith to anything, instead choosing to enjoy and benefit from all things. He believes it is imperative to embrace the unknown and live with a spirit of openness and fiery passion.
