KALA Mentoring empowers ambitious pharmaceutical and biotech professionals to achieve career breakthroughs through exceptional development programs. Our unique dual-mentorship programs pair participants with a dedicated mentor and a supportive peer group, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing, skill development, and expanded professional networks with meaningful connection. Mentors and mentees are both equipped with the skills, tools, network, and confidence needed to be successful as they participate in our programs. Our collaborative growth model supports individuals as they navigate their career path and excel in their chosen field. Sara Riedel is the founder and CEO of Kala Mentoring. She founded the self-funded start-up in 2023. During her seventeen year tenure at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Sara led a cross-functional team in the creation and ongoing management of a globally recognized formal mentoring program that fostered and supported professional development in others. Sara's background as a former middle school classroom teacher and her lifelong passion for professional development, coaching, and mentoring led her to found KALA Mentoring. She is dedicated to providing the knowledge and expertise needed to help others achieve their career goals. During her 20+ year career in the pharmaceutical industry, she held roles in sales, training, marketing, and key account management. Sara has received multiple awards and recognition for excellence in sales performance, project management, training effectiveness, and instructional design. Additionally, she has participated in multiple product launches and label expansions. Sara has received LinkedIn "Top Voice" designations in the areas of mentoring and facilitation. She completed mentor certification from the International Mentoring Association. Sara was also selected as a Marquis' Who's Who biographical listee in 2023.
