Kampf GmbH has been a major technology leader in slitting and winding technology for more than hundred years. The company, based in Wiehl near Cologne, employs a total of nearly 800 employees. Its product range includes slitting and winding machines, winders, narrow-cut slitting and special machines for manufacturing and processing web-shaped plastic film, composite materials, laminated and aluminium foil, as well as non-wovens, label stock and refined paper. Kampf is the world's biggest manufacturer of roll slitting and winding machines and winder for films. Exports account for approx. 90% of sales. The company has subsidiaries in the USA, China, India and associated Atlas Converting UK as well as international sales and service offices. Kampf has its own technology centre and works continuously on further developing its innovative machines; these include primarily high-performance slitting and winding machines, as well as narrow-cut slitting and winding machines for ultra-thin films. Kampf Life Cycle Service accompanies its customers over the entire lifecylce of their machines with know-how and up-to-date service products. The Kampf Academy offers a comprehensive seminar programme with different focal points. Great emphasis is also given to the education of young apprentices.The new training workshop was completed in 2014. This 450 m² state of the art site offers workplaces for future-oriented training. Kampf sponsors schools and regularly organizes events to give children a better understanding of technology.
