Mohandes organize regular monthly majors committees meetings on 3rd Wed of each month in North York Civic Center and provides high quality networking medium for professionals in the same field of engineering. These committees include (1) Electrical/Computer (2) Architecture (3) Civil and Construction (4) Mechanical/AeroSpace (5) Materials/Mining (6) Industrial (7) Agriculture/Environmental (8) Chemical Engineering Mohandes also holds several workshops and information sessions for newcomers (Newcomers Information Session and Resume Clinic) in order to assist newcomer engineer and professionals in their quest to adapt their skill set into the Canadian job market in collaboration with various associations including: Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) TRIEC (Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council) Newcomer Employment Services – a program of JVS Toronto Mohandes also holds various social events every year including: Yalda Gala Night (Dinner, Dance & Entertainment); Norouz Gala Party (Dinner, Dance & Entertainment); Summer Boat Cruise (Dinner & Dance); Summer Picnic New Year Brunch Gathering MOHANDES is actively involved in upgrading services and providing a coordinating point for community information.
