The Department of Civil Engineering, Transport and Environment sees to the creation of the major framework conditions for a good quality of life and a strong economic environment in the Canton of Aargau. Its staff deals with questions of spatial planning, energy, transport infrastructures and environmental concerns State Chancellery The State Chancellery supports the Aargau Government Council in terms of strategy, operational and legal affairs and communication. The focus of its activities lies in the optimization of the scope of activities of the Government Council.
