Kapitein & Schip (Eng: Captain & Ship) is an advisory firm that aims to be a trusted house advisor to a select group of clients in the Netherlands and Belgium. Clients in the current portfolio range from large corporates to small companies, and from business owners to managers or entrepreneurs. The firm provides hands-on assistance with, and lead advisory on: - sale, purchase and financing of companies - transfer of company ownership to management (MBO, MBI) - formulation and implementation of strategy and business development - structuring of commercial transactions and relations - coaching of business owners and managers Occasionally we pitch or take the lead to become joint-owners of the businesses we advise on because we believe we can add value to their long term development.
