KAPPA Surveying and Engineering, Inc. (KAPPA) is a highly experienced surveying and engineering firm serving both municipalities and private companies. As a 35 year old company we have learned to be flexible and embrace changes brought on by the economy and technological evolution. KAPPA has provided surveying and mapping service to numerous private, military and waterfront clients. We understand the need to approach each project with a strong commitment to accuracy and clarity of purpose. Before we start to work on a project, we first make sure that we completely understand what the client needs and when they need it. We then set out to perform our service so that it meets or exceeds their expectation. Currently we have Professional Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers on our staff. We are supported by a team of designers, drafters and administrative staff which provide the talents needed to maintain a high level of production. Our firm uses the latest in engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D). We do our pollution prevention planning, hydrologic studies and hydromodification designs for Low Impact Development using the latest continuous simulation storm modeling software (SDHM) which was recently adopted by both the City and County of San Diego.
