About Us Founded in February 2025, Kappu was born from the shared passion of two brothers for local gastronomy and exceptional coffee. Our establishment embodies a vision where artisanal quality, short supply chains, and respect for seasons meet in every cup and plate. Our Vision At Kappu, we firmly believe that culinary excellence begins with the careful selection of partners and products. Our menu offering varied choices according to the seasons, testifies to our commitment to Belgian terroir and its passionate artisans. Our Offerings Specialty Coffees: Exclusively roasted in Belgium by Corica, a Brussels-based roaster of excellence Signature Beverages: House-made hot creations (ube latte, selected teas) and cold options (iced teas, cold-pressed minute juices, artisanal milkshakes) Breakfast & Brunch: Formulas crafted with fresh local products (brunches by reservation only to limit waste) Lunch: Artisanal bagels and homemade soups prepared according to seasonal harvests from Les Jardins de Dounia Pastries: Entirely made in-house (cookies, brookies, various cakes) Our Network of Local Artisans Our strength lies in our partnerships with committed producers such as Les Jardins de Dounia, My Safe Place, Vendsyssel, La Ferme du Pont des Dames, Le Sushi du Détail, and quality merchants from Louvain-la-Neuve and surrounding areas like Le Palais des thés and Les Secrets du Chef. Our Space A warm venue offering nearly 50 indoor seats and 16 on the terrace, ideal for enjoying on-site or taking away creations that tell the story of our terroir.
