About Karimia Institute

Karimia is focused on helping individuals and families learn life skills and develop moral and spiritual values through education, worship and recreation. The Karimia Institute is a national charity founded in 1990 by Dr Musharraf Hussain, with the support of the local community in Nottingham (UK). Our headquarters remain located in Nottingham. Our volunteers and staff are driven to serving others, especially those that are underprivileged and vulnerable in our society. We operate as a modern and dynamic organization with centers for worship, education, training and self-development in various locations around the UK. The scope and variety of our activities are focused on bringing about a personal, spiritual and moral awakening in the individual. We deliver on our work through a wide range of schemes and services that include but not limited to; • Offering intellectual support to the Muslim community & organisations through our publications and education programs • Two Ofsted registered nurseries for 2-5 year olds and an Ofsted primary school • A range of community events, services and volunteering programs • Operating 6 Masjids (mosques) in community centres that are open to all of the community and offer 5 daily Islamic prayers along with the Jummah (Friday) prayer Karimia Association Limited We also support Radio Dawn 107.6FM and www.radiodawn.com a local volunteer driven community faith based station. The staff at Karimia aim is to deliver advancement and relevant services for the community and seek to provide on-going improvement for the Users, Customers and Business Partners.
