About Karuna Universal Weaving Facility
Karuna Universal Weaving Facility is the first universally accessible carpet weaving facility in Nepal. It is a project in partnership with EPSA-Nepal and Karnor carpets. The newly constructed facility is accessible for all individuals and approaches an inclusive movement towards providing employment for differently abled individuals. Currently, Karuna has over 15 differently abled individuals who are learning the traditional craft of Tibetan carpet weaving. Karuna has already trained the first batch of weavers who are actively weaving within the facility.
