Kate’s Home Nursing provides professional, compassionate, specialist nursing ‘hospice at home’ care, at a time that can often be an emotional and frightening time for patients and families alike. Our bank of experienced Registered Nurses provide expert nursing care for people in the last stage of illness who wish to die at home. We seek to ensure the best possible pain relief and symptom control. We also provide much-needed respite for the patient’s family or carer. There is no set pattern of care. Our nursing is arranged according to need from a few hours of respite for a patient’s family to all night nursing, with particular emphasis on effective pain relief and symptom control.
