About Katharine House Hospice Stafford
We provide free, compassionate care for people living with an incurable illness - such as heart/respiratory failure, dementia, Parkinson's, cancer and many more. We also support carers, family members and work closely with healthcare professionals. Our charity was founded in 1989 and has grown hugely since then with additional services provided in people's homes, our Therapy & Wellbeing Centre and our Inpatient Unit. From expert care delivered by our Palliative Care Specialist Nurse Team or our Hospice at Home Team, to tai chi, aromatherapy and drop-in support sessions - our care includes much more than you might think. Today, we continue to grow, with over 200 staff and 350+ volunteers. We also operate 15 shops throughout Staffordshire, which generate much-needed funds to help us continue to provide our care.
