About Kathmandu Boutique

I’m grateful for the ways Kathmandu Boutique has grown and expanded over the past decade. I was inspired to create this business after trying to find beautiful, yet affordable ethnic gifts in stores throughout Los Angeles with no success. I first started selling items from Nepal (my homeland) at festivals, street fairs, and at farmer’s markets. Gradually over the next ten years my inventory grew and I soon needed a special space to house the unique treasures I had collected. In 2005 I found a great location in Santa Monica and opened my store on lincoln blvd.. I’m fortunate to have great customers from all over the world who love to shop at the store when they are in town. People always asked if I have a website which inspired me to build an online store to offer the same quality products and amazing customer service.
