About Kathy's Accounting Services

Our Founder, Katherine L. Cowherd started KAS in 2001 in Southwest Atlanta. In the early years, she assisted immigrants with tax preparation and serviced local businesses with payroll and business consulting. She initially offered concierge tax services by personally traveling to clients’ homes and businesses for their convenience. Our core principle of 'accounting done personally' started from the very beginning with Kathy committing her attention to every client through face-to-face connections. She then began servicing the refugee community in Clarkston, Georgia by aiding in establishing non-profit organizations and promoting taxation education. Because she’s shown such care for her international clients, she’s gained their trust and admiration. Naturally the business has grown over the years and KAS found a permanent home in Henry County Georgia. Our office is conveniently located in Stockbridge Georgia just south of Atlanta. The expanse of clients we serve today range from truck drivers to physicians. We serve every type of business structure, S-Corp, Corporation, LLC, Sole-Proprietor, Non-Profit Organization, Partnerships, etc… KAS will always remain a boutique business with emphasis on personal relationship and providing clients with quality outcomes.
