Plastic is our passion. At Kautex Maschinenbau System GmbH we create smart production solutions for added value creating articles in extrusion blow molding. But we want even more. Our aim is to join our customers and partners in assuming a pioneering role in the transition and the creation of added value. As global market leader, we employ around 600 colleagues worldwide. Our main production locations are in Germany and China. We employ more than 150 people in the fields of sales and service on all continents, so we are close to our customers wherever they are. Our history of innovation started with the development of the world’s first extrusion blow molding machine for commercial use. Those early beginnings were down to an interest in different materials and a passion for technology. Eventually, they grew into the most important global process for the manufacture of plastic containers such as bottles or jerry cans, and also kayaks. Today we have the advantage of know-how in many areas – we work in a way that is global, agile and adaptive. Over 100 colleagues are involved with innovations on a continuous basis. These include the further development of the digital twin of extrusion blow molding machines. The greatest weight reductions, the processing of resource-efficient or recycling materials and the encouragement of the re-use of plastics by means of recycling systems, all form part of our DNA. Kautex Maschinenbau thereby makes a major contribution to resource conservation on our planet.
