About Kay & McLean Productions PTY
Andrew Kay & Liza McLean established Kay and McLean Productions Pty Ltd in 2008. Together they have produced the Australian and New Zealand tour of Waiting for Godot starring Ian McKellen, the Sydney season of Haunted starring Brenda Blethyn, the Perth and Melbourne seasons of The Graduate starring Jerry Hall, the Australian tour and Hong Kong season of Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps, Elizabeth Coleman’s Secret Bridesmaids’ Business, the Australian tour of Warriors of Brazi, Meow Meow in Feline Intimate in Melbourne, Brisbane and Edinburgh, Spaghetti Western Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House and Tubular Bells for Two at the Melbourne Recital Centre. In 2011 in association with APA and the Melbourne Festival KMP presented The Magic Flute Impempe Yomlingo and the debut Australian tour of Classical Pianist, James Rhodes. The 2010 tour of Waiting for Godot represents a continuation of their ongoing relationship with Duncan C Weldon and Paul Elliott. Together they have produced and been associated with the Australian, New Zealand and West End seasons of The Importance of Being Earnest, The Hollow Crown and the Australian and New Zealand tours of two double bills of Alan Bennett’s famous ‘Talking Heads’ series – A Bed Among the Lentils and Soldiering On, followed by Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet and Her Big Chance. Kay & McLean Productions Co-commissioned The Bridge Project’s 2011 international tour of Richard III starring Kevin Spacey and presented its exclusive Sydney Season at the Lyric Theatre. In 2014 they presented Felicity Kendal in the Bath Theatre Royal production of Noel Cowards’ Hay Fever.
