Kemper Construction Inc. (KCI) was founded in 1994 by Bill Kemper. Bill worked as a union carpenter for 25 years before establishing Kemper Construction. Bill gained much of his industrial and commercial construction knowledge having worked in many Central Illinois powerhouses for companies such as Babcock and Wilcox Inc., Power Systems, and Riley Stoker as superintendent. He also held superintendent roles for V. Jobst and Sons and C. Iber and Sons. In the past 20 years, Kemper Construction has built and thrived on a good reputation and quality work. Our focus remains on building quality relationships with private clients and expanding into the public sector. Since its founding, Kemper Construction has been a self-performing General Contractor.KCI takes pride in being signatory with local unions and hiring quality employees that build a career in our company. Since 2012, Kemper Construction has been a BROWZ compliant company and the management works hard to keep our exemplary safety record and maintain our low EMR. We are actively seeking commercial, industrial, municipal and educational work in and around Central Illinois; including but not limited to Peoria, Canton, Morton, Pekin, Macomb, Galesburg, Bartonville, Lewistown, Farmington, Havana, Brimfield, Princeville, Elmwood or anywhere nearby.
