About Ken & Dana Design

We come from a family of jewelers who have worked and thrived in the gemstone & jewelry business since 1973, and we bring this business experience with us into all aspects of what we do. We have been crafting fine engagement rings from our studio in the heart of NYC since 2002. We proudly remain a small, family-owned business and uphold strict standards in who we choose to do business with―in particular, how we source our metals (recycled) and gemstones (conflict-free and lab created). By working with a trusted network of diamond suppliers, we can also ensure that our designs are set with the best stones. We also proudly donate a portion of our proceeds to Earthworks and Cool Effect and over the years have also helped raise thousands of dollars for the Brady Campaign, Red Cross, and the Harlem Children’s Zone. From our start in the early aughts, we've had a wild ride―including a collaboration with Doo.ri Chung for her Spring 2005 Runway show, to having our pieces worn by celebrities including Beyonce, Rashida Jones, Debra Messing, Keri Hilson, and Rachel Ray. And over the last 10 years, our jewelry has received accolades from a wide range of publications including Harper's Bazaar, Lucky, WWD, Refinery29 and New York Magazine. But the core of our mission and our story remains―we continue to seek inspiration in this colorful city (New York!) that surrounds us. We make custom engagement rings and wedding bands that are inspired by sculpture, architecture, organic shapes, and most of all, the personal stories we hear from our clients every day. We recognize that no two relationships are the same, and only by engaging you throughout the creation process are we able to craft a truly unique product that you can call your own.
